More than 1,000 students from 14 area high schools had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from several colleges, universities and technical schools Monday.
The Annual Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce College Fair was held at Glessner Auditorium inside Oglebay’s Wilson Lodge.
Students were able to ask questions about different programs offered by the colleges.
They also got information on things like admission and scholarship deadlines.
“We had a variety of people outside the area. We had a variety of medical schools, pharmaceutical schools. There is just a lot of opportunity for the kids to see what decision they want to make for the future,” said Erikka Storch, President of the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce.
More than 30 colleges were on hand for the event sponsored by Wesbanco.
