This Halloween, Chipotle restaurants across the nation will be adding a little twist to their popular “Boo-rito” event.
This year marks the 5th Annual “Boo-rito” event for the chain, where customers who show up in costume can receive a $3 burrito, bowl, salad, or tacos.
Chipotle decided to change things up a bit this year to support their latest campaign against GMO-ingredients.
In order to be eligible for the $3 deal, customers must include an “unnecessary item” with their costume. This ties in with Chipotle’s idea that additives are “unnecessary”.
Some examples would include a mummy wearing roller skates, a princess with a beard, etc.
Online, app, and catering orders are excluded from this deal.
Chipotle donates up to $1 million of the Boo-rrto proceeds in the nation to the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, and a portion of the proceeds in Canada benefit Second Harvest.
The promotion runs Oct. 31st from 5 p.m. to close.
