Mark “Oz” Geist will be speaking at Steubenville Catholic Central on April 25th as part of the Herald Star- Weirton Daily Times Speaker Series.

Geist was a member of the Annex Security Team that fought the Battle of Benghazi in September of 2012. He is also the co-author of “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi.”

Herald Star Editor Ross Gallabrese says the presentation will be as thrilling as the book and recently released movie.

“It’s very dramatic. Very seldom do you actually have the chance to learn about an event of historic importance from a person who has actually lived through that event. That’s something we’re proud of that we’ve done in the past with the speaker series and we’re certainly happy to do it this time as well,” said Gallabrese.

To purchase tickets you can go to herald-star-online.com. You can also get them in person at the Herald Star’s office or at Catholic Central High School. They are $20 a piece or $100 for two VIP tickets, which includes a meet and greet with Geist.

WTRF is excited to be a part of this event.
