Saturday night the community will come together to mourn the loss of a little boy, gone too soon.
At 10 p.m. there will be a candlelight vigil for 8-year-old Emanuel ‘Manny’ Williams.
The vigil will be held in the Mason Rehab parking lot near the Elm Grove Skate park, people are asked to bring their own candles.
He passed away Thursday after drowning in Big Wheeling Creek. Officials say Williams was walking in the creek when he slid, fell beneath the water, and was then swept away. The boy’s body was found three hours later, underwater and about 25 yards away from where he fell.
