Community Holds Prayer Vigil for Seriously Injured 6-year-old


 Hundred of people gathered in Shadyside Sunday night to pray for a miracle for Noah Brown.

Noah, just 6-years-old, was seriously inured Saturday night in a tragic incident in Shadyside.

He was flown to Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital immediately after.

Since then several prayers services and vigils have been held, including the one outside of his Jefferson Elementary school.

“Noah is a little child who has just started to live,” said Shadyside Resident Melissa Leonard.

“I am asking for the entire Ohio Valley to pray for Noah Brown and the entire Brown family, because we need a miracle and nothing short of a miracle is going to help. That’s why we believe it that’s why we’re here tonight together, and we’re just hoping for the best,” said superintendent John Haswell.

Hand in hand, singing Amazing Grace, reciting the Lord’s Prayer and all getting down on their knees to pray, the entire town is support Noah and his family.

Noah is in the first grade.
