The boards are set and the polina is ready to roll for one of the largest Bocce Ball tournaments in the Ohio Valley.
On Thursday crews were putting the finishing touches on the courts that will be packed in the coming days with competitors.
The folks down at Heritage Port even let WTRF’s Nate Fluharty have a roll or two.
Wheeling’s Adam Bonenberger said, “we’re here to win this thing. There’s a good group of people down here, but I’m pretty confident in my team.”
If bocce isn’t your thing, they’re still looking for people wanting to sign up for the Cornhole tournament.
Anyone heading down the upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival can sign up Friday at the festival headquarters at Heritage Port.
