Controversial Costume Pulled From Retail Sites


WASHINGTON (CNN Newsource) – Many people around the country are upset with a costume being sold on Walmart and Amazon websites.

The costume is called “Tranny Granny” and includes a dress, headscarf and padding for the breasts and rear-end.

Many people are saying the costume is offensive to the transgender community.

Both companies say they will stop selling the costume immediately.

It’s still available from several other online retailers.

At last check, Rasta Imposta, the company who makes the costume was marketing the product as a “Manny Granny” on its website.
