Council Approves Ordinance to Eliminate ATV Riding in Moundsville

A new ordinance in Marshall County is putting the brakes on ATV riding in the city of Moundsville.

On Tuesday night City Council unanimously approved the ordinance prohibiting anyone from riding 4-wheelers or other all terrain vehicles inside city limits.

If you plan on using one for snow removal, you have to first obtain a permit at the city building.

Those caught riding would face fines.
