Thousands of hunters will spread out across the state of West Virginia for the start of the two week deer-gun season.

Officials say deer hunters spend an estimated $230 million in West Virginia.

Different this year, instead of checking game in at a physical location, hunters now can do it online.

You can register BY CLICKING HERE.

There is no fee to register and once registered, as a hunter you will be in the system for life.
Every hunter is given a permanent identification number by the DNR that they must use to report any game.

The season runs through December 5th.
