For our final home in our Delightful Days of Christmas sponsored by DeNoon Lumber, we take a look at a home in Triadelphia.
This home has an eclectic Americana Christmas theme from the porch to the bar, there are so many decorations you’d think you had arrived at Santa’s workshop.
It’s hard to believe it, but most of their Christmas Display was wiped out from flooding this past summer, “We did lose some things and that was a little disheartening to open up some containers that we thought were salvageable and they weren’t, but we just kind of picked up the pieces and you went from there,” said homeowner, Johnny Doyle.
From the incredible wood burning fireplace in the living room, there something in each of the rooms on the first floor. Then you take a trip out to the backyard, “We enjoy having company over, quite a bit. Family and friends and it’s always nice to have a festive environment for our loved ones to come around,” said homeowner Brock Carp.
They do a little here and a little there, leading all the way out to the most fun room at the house, which is the bar, “There’s a lot of stuff that my grandparents have given us and my mom and Brock’s mom and his grandparents and we like to mix old and new. We buy new stuff every year,” Doyle said.
All of this on top of their recent wedding, the newlyweds just tied the knot in October, “We were married October 1st, this year, so there were things we bought together that makes everything more special,” Doyle concluded.
It’s been a lot of fun sharing some of the incredible homes from across the Ohio Valley and we hope you’ve enjoyed our Delightful Days of Christmas sponsored by DeNoon Lumber, as much as we’ve enjoyed covering them!
We want to thank everyone who invited us into their homes to see their awesome displays.
