Since the crash, investigators have been in search for the driver that crashed into the couple.

WBNS-TV received an anonymous tip that came into their CrimeStoppers this week from someone who claimed to know a man who knew someone that had said his daughter had “gotten away” with the crash.

Once Pickerington police made contact with the man, he admitted his daughter hit and killed Jackowski.

According to WBNS-TV, the man also told the detectives that his daughter chopped up and burned the vehicle with his help. Some of the vehicle has been recovered by the police.

The daughter, who is 24 years old, admitted to being involved in the crash.

The names of those involved have not been released because charges have not yet been filed.

Police have released the hand-written confession written by the 24-year-old woman.
