Drug Raid in Belmont County Leads to 6 Arrests, Police Say


 Officers in Belmont County have recovered numerous drugs, paraphernalia and cash after executing a search warrant in Bethesda.

According to the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office, police discovered heroin, marijuana, cocaine, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, ammo for a 9 mm gun, approximately $1,100.00 in cash, and several cell phones at a home on Union Street.

Police say Tammy Bales, Paul McCord Jr., Ashley Straight, Steven Kyle Jr., Andre Diggs, and Andre Parker were arrested and face numerous charges.

Bales was charged with four counts of Trafficking in Heroin, one count Trafficking in Cocaine, and police say other charges may be coming. McCord Jr. was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Straight and Kyle Jr. are facing charges of Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drugs. Diggs is facing a charge of Possession of Schedule 3 Drugs. Parker is facing a charge of Trafficking in Heroin.

The Drug Task Force was assisted by the Special Operations Branch of the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office and Bethesda Police Department.
