Wheeling Hospital is teaming up with several organizations in Marshall County, in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to offer a series of workshops to help with women’s health.
Dr. Rose Hardin, with the Wheeling Hospital Breast Cancer and Melonoma Center will be hosting the first workshop.
“They wanted to create a program and an event for the women of the area to discuss health issues and we’re going to be focusing on breast cancer and melonoma,” said Dr. Hardin.
The Empowering Women Series will start on Monday, October 10th at 7:00 p.m. at John Marshall High School, room 284.
The event is free and open to the public.
