Martins Ferry defeated its arch-rivals Bellaire 28-7 on a rainy night at Purple Rider Stadium.
The Reds scored first as sophomore quarterback Tyson Camsky connect with Brandon Laughman for a touchdown in the first quarter.
But James Edwards went deep to Jack Fitch for a 55-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7.
Junior running back Arjay Burress took over from there, scoring the game’s next three touchdowns, running for 175 yards on 20 carries.
The Purple Riders, 8-2, will be on the road next Saturday in the first round of the Ohio playoffs.
Bellaire finishes the first season under head coach Stephen Andres at 3-7.
