The annual Festival of Colors starts Saturday at noon at the Palace of Gold.
The Indian Cultural Festival promotes love, friendship and unity. There will be live music, Indian cuisine, yoga, dance and colors thrown every half hour.
Every year, people from all over West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania attend the event at the Palace of Gold. The event brings in up to 5,000 to Marshall County.
“People of all walks of life, all ages come to this festival, it’s a family friendly festival. We have kids from one year old and we have grandmas 70-years-old who also come to this festival. It’s for everyone,” said Vrindavan Das, Communication Director, New Vrindaban.
If you plan on going, make sure you get there early enough to avoid long lines and traffic.
The festival runs until 6 p.m. Saturday.
