A Florida mom is being credited for ending a hostage situation by sending in an order to Pizza Hut with a secret comment alerting workers that she was in trouble.

According to WTSP, Cheryl Treadway and her three children were being held captive inside her home by her boyfriend, 26-year-old Ethan Earl Nickerson, police said.

Treadway told police she somehow convinced Nickerson to allow her to order the pizza.

She placed the order using Pizza Hut’s app, and included the comment “Please help! Get 911 to me.” She also wrote, “911 hostage help.”

Store manager Candy Hamilton recognized Treadway’s name and address as a frequent customer.

“We immediately called 911,” Hamilton said.

Sheriff’s deputies rushed to Treadway’s home.

After a brief standoff, Nickerson was arrested.

He faces several charges including false imprisonment.
