Former Moundsville Officer Indicted On Sexual Assault Counts


A former Moundsville Police Officer has been indicted by the Marshall County grand jury after allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl. 

Benjamin Davis was indicted on three counts of sexual assault and three counts of distributing obscene material to a minor. 

Davis had allegedly met the girl online and was turned in by the mother of one of the girl’s friends. 

He resigned in February after three years on the force.
