Former St.C Police Chief Receives Lifetime Achievement Award from Attorney General

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine Presented the Distinguished Law Enforcement Lifetime Achievement Award to former St. Clairsville Police Chief Martin Kendzora at a ceremony Wednesday night in Columbus.

Kendzora was described as being a fair and honest leader during his 38 years as chief in St. Clairsville, and also as a person who truly loves his community. Colleagues said it is common for those he helped to revisit the department years later and reminisce about the impact he had on their lives.

He retired in 2013 after serving the department for more than 49 years.
