A marketing executive who was caught on camera attacking an Uber driver is now apologizing for his bad behavior.

32-year-old marketing executive Ben Golden was fired from his position at Taco Bell, after a video of him attacking an Uber driver went viral.

Golden claims that he has no memory of the incident. He tells CBS News the video was hard to watch and that he’s ashamed.

He says he lost count of how many drinks he had that night. Just moments before the attack, the video shows him falling over in the back seat and arguing with his driver.

Golden says he wants to meet the driver to apologize, but the driver says he’s afraid of Golden and has no intentions on meeting him after having to use pepper spray to defend himself during the attack.

He was arrested shortly after he left the car. He is now facing four misdemeanor charges, including assault and battery, and could spend a year in jail.
