Head Football Coach of Florida State University Jimbo Fisher wants to collect uniforms for the schools impacted by the West Virginia flooding. West Virginia is Fisher’s home state.

The Florida Athletic Coaches Association sent out this tweet with his letter.

In the letter it says We here at Florida State would like to set up a uniform donation for the affected high schools. The letter shows Fisher asking each high school coach in the state of Florida to donate one full uniform to help football programs in West Virginia get back on their feet.

Fisher adds in the letter the FSU is doing everything they can to help make sure they are able to have a football season this upcoming year. Fisher says the University will collect all of these uniforms and transport them to West Virginia on July 25th.

The final paragraph of the letter goes to say “We have all seen how athletics can heal and rebuild communities that have suffered through a tragedy. Thank you so much for your help and anything you can do to assist the high school football programs in West Virginia”
