Grand Vue Park ‘Red, White and Blue 5k’ to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project

On the Fourth of July, people across the Ohio Valley will be able to spend a day at the park and help out combat veterans.

Grand Vue Park, just outside of Moundsville, will host its annual American Hero Appreciation Day. Money raised at the event will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Veterans and active duty military members will be able to enjoy free zip line rides.

There will be fun events for the entire family, including a 5K color run and a bike ride.

People attending will also be able to enjoy live music, a cornhole tournament and a scavenger hunt with plenty of prizes.  “We will have over one thousand dollars worth of prizes scattered throughout the park,” said General Manager, Craig White. “You just register at The Barn for that by 9 a.m. Some of the prizes will be free cabin weekends, free shelter rentals, pool passes, zip line tours, games of put-put, down to hot dogs and things throughout the park.”

The public is welcome to attend.
