Groups Oppose Pipeline Project in West Virginia and Virginia

Seventeen groups in West Virginia and Virginia want their concerns heard about a 301-mile natural gas pipeline that would carve a path through both states.

The groups are opposed to the energy project, claiming it would hurt the environment and private property.

They want to be heard by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

The Mountain Valley Pipeline would run from Wetzel County, to Pittsylvania County, Virginia.

Both pipelines would move natural gas from fracking drill fields in West Virginia and elsewhere.
