Hancock County man pleads guilty to unlawful possession of a stolen firearm


A Hancock County man faces up to 10 years in prison for possession of a stolen firearm.

Brandon S. Moore, 24, of New Cumberland pleaded guilty on Monday to a federal firearms charge.

According to United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, Moore stole a Glock pistol, model 22, .40 caliber from a residence in Brooke County in June 2015.

Moore pleaded guilty Monday to one count of “Possession of a Stolen Firearm.” He faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
