Moundsville was booming, Saturday afternoon during the 11th annual Marshall County home and business expo.
A huge crowd came pouring through the doors all day long. According to the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, several thousand people were in attendance.
82 different businesses and 115 booths offered visitors everything from crafts to banking to music. Visitors also enjoyed prizes and some food.
The expo is all about helping people buy local, “Well what it does it makes people realize that we have things right in our own backyard that they need to buy. They don’t have to go 15, 25, 30 miles because it’s all right here,” said Dave Knuth, Executive Director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce.
Knuth added that each year the event keeps growing. He said it’s a great weekend for the people of Marshall County.
