Magnolia High School was put on lockdown around noon on Wednesday, according to New Martinsville Police Chief Tim Cecil.
Chief Cecil says he was in the school when a student made him aware of a threat that was occurring.
Chief Cecil tells 7News the threat involved two students. He said the school resource officer detained one student, questioned another, and officers removed the two students from the school. Once the two students were removed, the school ended the lockdown.
Chief Cecil says both students will face juvenile hearings.
No injuries were reported and no other details about the threat have been released.
