Election season is just months away and a number of position across the Ohio Valley will need to be filled.
In Marshall County, Circuit Clerk David Ealy will be retiring after a number of years of service. Last Monday, the man that has been helping to run the operations at the Circuit Clerk’s office filed to take over his position.
Joe Rucki has worked with the Circuit Clerks office over the last 28-years.
In that time Rucki has overseen operations, clerked in more than 215 jury trials and has dealt with countless numbers of adoptions and appeals.
“I know I got a lot of work to do, but the twenty-eight years that I was here, I always thought there are three things that are very important. I love being friendly to the taxpayers, being honest, and being fair,” said Rucki.
Rucki says that the best part of working at the Circuit Clerk’s Office over the last 28 years is being able to work with people from all over Marshall County, and he loves what he does.
