John Kasich Makes Campaign Stop in Pittsburgh

The City of Pittsburgh has been the recent focal point for those looking to become the next President of the United States. On Tuesday, Ohio Governor John Kasich paid a visit.

About 200 people packed into the Oyster House to see and hear from the Presidential hopeful. This was actually a homecoming of sorts for Kasich, who grew up in nearby McKees Rocks and although he still trails in the polls, behind Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, he said today it’s all about what happens at the Republican Convention.

“We’re actually going to go to a competitive convention, and open convention. Now some people say, well shouldn’t the guy that has the plurality or whatever be the one that gets picked? Well, look, we have rules. If you can’t hit the magic number then, you know, you didn’t get enough. So you fall short. And then we go into a process of multiple ballots,” said Governor Kasich.

Also in attendance was Larry Paul, a part owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Voters will be gearing up to hit in the polls in Pennsylvania’s Primary which is next Tuesday.
