Justice Hosts Education Forum

Democratic Nominee for West Virginia Governor Jim Justice made a visit in the friendly city Monday to talk education. He feels West Virginia needs to step up when it comes to educating your kids.

West Virginia currently ranks 45th in the nation when it comes to education and Gubernatorial candidate, Jim Justice hosted a forum to learn how to get your kids a better education.

He came to Oglebay Resort to listen to local educators about the challenges they face in the classroom and how they think we can overcome those challenges. Justice said many politicians will talk to teachers, but few will listen to what they really need in the classroom, “There are so many improvements that need to be made, it’s unbelievable. I’m trying together all of the information that I possibly can so that when I become governor, if I become governor, I’ll be in a position that I know and I’ll be ready to do something,” Justice said.

Justice added that education is the most important thing that we have.
