K9 Division at Steubenville Police Department Receives Generous Donation


 The K9 Division at the Steubenville Police Department just received a generous donation from an organization the be able to afford a bite suit.

The Fort Steuben Kennel Association presented K9 handler Rob Cook with a check for over $800 so he can purchase a bite suit that is crucial for the training of K9 Bono.

“I ask him I said what are you needing for this dog for training purposes and he’s the one that suggested I need a bite suit so I took it and presented it to the board members and the club itself and we voted unanimously to purchase the bite suit for him,” said Bob Damron, the President of the Ft. Steuben Kennel Association.

Damron adds they do fundraiser’s and shows throughout the year to raise money to be able to support organizations such as the Steubenville Police Department K9 Division.
