Kindle Update Deadline Passed

If you have a Kindle stowed away somewhere, you may pull it out and find that it no longer connects to the internet.

According to Amazon, owners of older Kindles or those who haven’t connected to the Internet via wireless access since October 5th were required to update their devices before Tuesday, or risk losing downloads and Kindle services.

Amazon claims to have sent out emails to customers to alert them of the deadline. If you have a Kindle that you haven’t used in a while, you may want to check to see if it can still be used.
