Deer Season is in full swing across Ohio.
A few years back, hunting became a 21st century sport where you could report the deer you kill to the state right on your smart phone.
Now, that’s just about the only place you can see them at places that used to see hundreds of deer check-ins, especially on this first day of gun season.
At the Sportsman Trading Post in Wintersville, Ohio, just a few hours ago, they had seen less than 10 deer.
“Not too many people check them too much anymore,” Owner of Sportsman Trading Post David Viltro said. “We do have as few guys, but a lot of guys can check them in on their phones or online.”
Deer season in Ohio continues is all this week you can tag two doe per county, up to 6, and just one buck.
