Wheeling Police arrested Alfaygo Alexander Nightengale after he allegedly ran from officers during a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.  After pulling Nightengale over, officers say they smelled marijuana in the car and that’s when Nightengale sped off.  Officers eventually stopped him in front of the Legion Post at the intersection of 15th and Jacob Street.

During the arrest police say they found bags of both marijuana and cocaine in his car.

Nightengale has been charged with two counts of felony marijuana and cocaine possession with intent to deliver, along with a felony fleeing officers charge. He is currently being held at Northern Regional Jail on $30,000 cash only bond.
