The Ohio County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man who allegedly broke into a home and stole two televisions Friday.
Zachary Foster was arrested for burglary after breaking into a home on National Road.
Local authorities reported Foster broke into A.R. Walker’s home Friday morning and stole two televisions.
While investigating the crime, deputies received a call from Sgt. Drahos of the Ohio Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force who reported that he received a phone call from an anonymous source stating the defendant committed the burglary and was housing the TV’s in his backyard on Submarine Lane.
Deputies found a power cord that Walker identified as his property at Foster’s residence. The screw driver used to break into Walker’s house was also found.
Officials said the screw driver and tool marks on the frame of Walker’s rear entrance matched perfectly.
Foster’s bond was set at $25,000.
Foster was transported to the Northern Regional Jail.
