The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a head on crash between a car and a semi in Harrison County.
An off-duty patrolmen actually had to spring into action because it happened right in front of his house.
Trooper Tim Zook, the patrolman in charge of the investigation, says the car driven by a 21-year-old man, went left of center, hitting the empty water hauler.
Scio EMS was first on the scene and removed the man, who is now in serious condition in Pittsburgh, from the car.
Police responded to an accident on 646 in Scio, Ohio around 8:40 Friday morning after a truck pinned a man in his vehicle.
Officials were able to get the man out of his vehicle and Medivac was brought to the location of the accident.
According to witnesses on scene, the truck driver sustained no injuries.
