A West Virginia man faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to oxycodone trafficking in Ohio County.
Suhip E. Ebrahim, 26, of Bridgeport, WV, pleaded guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Oxycodone in federal court in Wheeling on Monday.
According to United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld, Ebrahim conspired with at least one other individual to possess and sell oxycodone throughout 2015 and 2016 in Ohio County.
Ebrahim was arrested in Wheeling in March 2016 after police say they found him in possession of a large quantity of oxycodone pills.
He also faces a fine of up to $1,000,000.
