Traffic congestion is starting to let up in Bridgeport.
The Marion Street, Interstate 70 Eastbound on-ramp is now open again.
The ramp opened late yesterday afternoon, after being closed since early 2015.
The $9-million dollar project consisted of the entire bridge and all four ramps being completely torn down and replaced.
The project has taken a year and a half to complete, about seven months longer than originally thought.
Right now construction crews have been continuing to do work on the sidewalks and are working to finish painting the new bridge.
