Each year, people from all over the nation and the world come right here to the Ohio Valley to relive their childhood.
The Marx toy museum in Moundsville hosts a world famous collection of vintage Marx toys. After a good year the museum just closed up for the season. Owner, curator Francis Turner, says there are some exciting displays coming in 2016 including a dedication to the twin towers. Some of the most loved parts of the museum are the 1950’s room and a collection of Brad Paisley’s toys. John Rusnak and his wife came from Pittsburgh to see the collection on the last day the museum was open for the year.
“The toy museum is a set back in time it’s a time capsule of all the different eras. Marx Toys captured all of pop culture from movies to television shows, comic books, to whatever was going on at the time. It’s a fascinating experience to walk through all this,” said John Rusnak.
To join in on the classic fun stop by the museum doors will open again on April 2nd.
