A memorial has been set up for a 13-year-old girl killed in a house explosion one year ago.

The memorial for Hannah Mozingo is in place where her house used to be until that day on October 11, 2013 when the house exploded due to natural gas. Three family members were injured in the house explosion on Eldersville Road in the Hooverson Heights area during the early morning hours.

People from Mingo Junction to Marland Heights and Short Creek reported feeling the blast. One neighbor’s home reportedly had the windows and front door blown off from the force of the explosion.
