Michael Carroll lost a hard-fought battle with cancer on July 3, 2014, but his parents continue to fulfill his dream of spreading his “Meanies” around the world.
Michael created the toys to help children take out their anger and frustration when dealing with cancer. He was inspired when he heard a fellow cancer patient suffering during her treatment.
On Monday, Michael’s Meanies announced they will soon be in 324 hospitals, including four new locations in Philadelphia, New York, Virginia and Texas.
Michael’s Meanies are available in all 50 states, 18 countries, and on all seven continents.
