Middle School Students Handed ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Puzzles in Class

A Pittsburgh area school district says its investigating how students at a middle school were given word puzzles based on the erotic novel and movie, “Fifty Shades of Grey”.

The word search, filled with explicit sexual terms, was handed out to at least five students in an eighth grade class at  Monessen Middle School, according to ABC affiliate WTAE-TV

At a school board meeting Tuesday night, district officials said they had just learned of the incident the previous day and that an investigation would occur. They said at that time they could not comment on who gave the puzzles to students.

School district officials did not say whether any teachers or staff had been disciplined.
