The Morgantown Mohigans used a 10-0 run to end the first half, and never looked back, in a 73-38 rout of No.1 Parkersburg South in the OVAC 5A championship game at Ohio University Eastern.

Kenzie Melko paced all scorers with 20 points and big man C.J. King added 17, as the Mohigans won the rubber match of the season-series. Zakeem Davis added nine.

Parkersburg South had Cole Day and Cody Boggs with seven points each.

Morgantown, led by first-year head coach David Tallman, joined his father Dave, the head coach at Magnolia, as OVAC champions. The Blue Eagles defeated Fort Frye 24-hours before the Mohigans on the same bench at OUE.
