The St. Clairsville Police Department is investigating a motorcycle accident that happened at 6:40 Sunday evening at the intersection of East Main Street and Barton Road.
St. Clairsville Police responded to the scene, along with the Cumberland Trail Fire Department.
The injured female passenger was left on the roadway by the driver, who reportedly fled north on Barton Road, prior to the officers arriving.
Police are looking for a maroon or red Harley Davidson motorcycle, with possible damage to the right side.
