One Moundsville business was feeling festive Thursday night as Gold, Khourey, and Turak lit their Christmas tree and invited the neighborhood to join in.
Dozens of friends, families, and neighbors packed into the law firm for a chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas, chow down on cookies and hot chocolate, and listen to the Opus Music Club sing some holiday favorites.
Jonathan Turak says they started with a small tree lighting ceremony several years ago and it’s grown from there.
“We just appreciate being part of the neighborhood,” said Turak. “It was just an opportunity for us to invite the local children in and have them experience Santa right here. And it’s grown from that and it’s really a lot of fun for us.”
The staff at Gold, Khourey, & Turak helped decorate the tree while former WTRF reporter and current Miss West Virginia Paige Madden flipped the switch to turn on the lights.
