Moundsville Police Investigate B&E and Dog Beheading

The Moundsville Police confirmed Thursday morning that they are investigating a situation that happened on 3rd Street.

Detectives say the incident involves a breaking and entering as-well-as a dog that was beheaded.

The family of four was away from their home for nearly 24 hours, and when they returned, they found their home broken into and one of their two dogs beheaded in the garage.

“One of their dogs was basically beheaded and personally skinned and the head was wrapped in that skin. It was bizarre and gross,” says SGT. Don Dewitt.
