The Nailers had a little Sunday matinee in Ontario with the Brampton Beast.
Wheeling was already up 1-0 after a Cody Wydo goal in the 1st period when Clark Seymour would hit a wrister past Edward Pasquale to make it 2-0 Nailers.
Brampton would answer in the 2nd Period though as Mathew Maione got the puck behind Brian Foster to cut the Nailer lead to 2-1. The Beast would then tie it at 2 when Brandon Marino went 5-hole on Foster.
Nailers though would answer before the next intermission as John McCarron came through with a power play goal, to make it 3-2 Wheeling. Then Derek Army would wrap a bow on it after scoring another Nailer power play goal.
Wheeling wins 4-3 move to 3-1 on the young season.
