Nearly 100 Kids Visit Santa at Moundsville Tree Lighting

Nearly 100 kids visited Santa Thursday at the 13th Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting in Moundsville.

The Benwood Volunteer Fire Department escorted Santa down Tomlinson Avenue to the law office of Gold, Khourey, and Turak, where Santa met with the children.

Santa then lead the children inside for hot chocolate and cookies.

Kids were also able to get their pictures with Santa Claus as they told him their wish lists.

Each child received a gift bag from Santa.

Spike from the Wheeling Nailers flipped the switch to light the 17-foot Christmas tree, which will be lit every evening from 4 p.m. to midnight.
