Belmont County has received a Grant to help keep the community safe.
The $25,000 grant will help put AED devices in public buildings with high traffic. The county plans to put these new devices in the Courthouse, Senior Citizen Centers, and Job and Family Resources. Officials say this grant is helpful.
“We’re able to hopefully improve their chances of survival,” Jack Regis, says. “To be able to do the steps necessary until the Emergency crews get here.”
They also have plans to put AEDs in the Sargus Juvenile Center.
