New Details Released in Jefferson County Murder Case

New details have been released involving the murder of Stephanie Pytash in Jefferson County.

The two co-defendants accused in her killing have been indicted by the Jefferson County Grand Jury on a new charge: aggravated murder.

The prosecutor’s office says new information leads them to believe Summer Malyashev and Michael Shane pre-planned the murder, luring Pytash to the Toronto home where her remains was found burned in a fire pit outside.

Authorities searched for Pytash for more than seven months after she was reported missing, which has been almost a year ago.
