They are the boys who bring you the backyard weather BBQ every Wednesday on 7 News at 5:00 and 6:00, and now they have a brand new food truck where they will be serving their unique BBQ cuisine daily right here in the Friendly City.
What started out as just a regular trailer has turned into a massive food truck and catering service a dream of one local chefs.
“Every time I drive past one of these food carts its been on my bucket list, and I’ve always wanted to open one up,” Chef Paul Keller says.
Now that dream has turned into a reality. Ole Boy’s Catering is located in the plaza across from Lowe’s in downtown Wheeling.
They serve a variety of items from pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and ribs.
“We got the inspiration from a lot of the drillers that moved in from the south,” Keller says. “They were looking for a traditional southern BBQ and we through a little flare in by adding wraps and bowls.”
As well as a number of unique sauces like their Fireball Whiskey sauce that goes on just about anything like their fresh cut dirty fries. Yes, that’s right dirty fries which are covered in pulled pork, onions and peppers, cheese sauce and black bean salsa.

The food truck will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Friday’s 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.
