Friday was the day many of you have been waiting for, the annual launch of the latest Apple iPhone. Representatives with AT&T Wireless in Elm Grove had a line of anxious apple enthusiasts greeting them as they reported to work Friday morning.

People waited in line early Friday morning, in Elm Grove, all wanted one thing. The latest Apple iPhone, “iPhone 6, I’ve been looking forward to it coming out for a while,” said Michael Voellinger.

But what is it about the products that keep loyal customer coming back for more?
Denise Tierney explained why she likes the device, “I love the iPhone, because it’s simple to use,” Tierney said.

That was the general consensus among customers there Friday, waiting to get their hands on the newest iPhones. Employees said business had been good, “It’s been pretty steady, we’ve had a lot of people in and out. We had about nine people waiting and it just kept trickling in after that. Steady and busy, the way we like it,” said AT&T Wireless (Elm Grove) Assistant Manager, Jered Reeves.

We spoke to customers who look forward to the launch every year, and keep coming back.
They said the features offered through on the iPhone is what draws them to the new devices,
“The Apps, you know, allow you to tailor the phone to what you want to use it for,” Voellinger said.

Whether they’re used for business or personal use, the iPhone 6 seemed to be flying off of retailers shelves and out the door with happy customers.
“I’m a realtor in Wheeling and so, I can access anything very easily,” said Tierney.

Voellinger added that he enjoys the iPhones for more, “They’re a lot of fun and I think very functional,” Voellinger said.
Representatives at AT&T told us they did not receive any shipments of the iPhone 6 Plus,
because Apple had been busy shipping those phones to customers who pre-ordered the devices over the previous week.
